National Economic Development Week

May 8-13, 2017

Economic Development Week was created by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) with the goals of increasing awareness for local programs that create jobs, advance career development opportunities, and increase the quality of life. Economic Development Week (EDW) is a nationwide campaign that consists of activities designed to highlight. While the IEDC primarily emphasizes celebrating the field of Economic Development and the people that work in that field, Eureka is going to be taking different path. Economic Development Week presented by the City of Eureka will be about honoring economic achievements of Eureka’s workers and job creators.
