Dimensions for a legal load may not exceed 14 in height, 8 6 in width, and 40 in length or as allowed under the California Vehicle Code Sections 35400 35796.City of Eureka Transportation permits are issued to allow movement of extra-legal vehicles and/or loads over City streets.
Transportation Permits may be obtained by faxing a completed City of Eureka Transportation Permit application, a copy of your California Dept. of Transportation (Caltrans) permit, and a copy of your check to the Engineering Dept. at 707-441-4202.Please include a fax cover sheet addressed to Attn: Engineering Dept.

FEES
Transportation permits are $16.00 per permit. Annual permits are availalbe for $90.00 per year.
