Eureka Fire Department personnel conduct annual inspections of all businesses in Eureka to help meet the fire and life safety needs of each business as well as the safety of the community as a whole. Certain occupancies are provided a self-inspection form to conduct the inspection of their business. Upon completion, the business person can send the results of the inspection to the fire department for inclusion in the occupancy files. This saves fire department staff time while allowing the business owner more control over their time and facilities.
