Mission Statement

The mission of the Sequoia Park Zoo is to inspire wonder, understanding and respect for the natural world by providing fun, rewarding educational experiences that encourage meaningful connections between animals, humans and our environment.

We fulfill our mission by:

• Providing high standards of animal care and exhibitry
• Being committed to and teaching conservation (wildlife, resource, habitat)
• Providing a safe place for the community to meet, relax, and learn
• Appreciating and utilizing our unique redwood setting
