SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS

ALL SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS* ARE NOW MANAGED THROUGH OUR ONLINE BOOKING SITE!

Please click the “Make a Reservation” link below to begin your registration.  Note: you will need to create an account to complete the booking request, but no payments will be taken online; you will pay for your visit at the ticket booth on the day of your visit.

* Field trips are defined as official school, class, home-school or pre-school activities that support curriculum goals and have a specific educational rather than a recreational goal. Non-school affiliated after-school programs, daycares, summer and seasonal camps (recreational-based) are charged regular fees.

Schools that pre-arrange their visits online will receive a special admission rate of $2.00 per student with a predefined number of chaperones admitted for free (see below). Schools that show up without a reservation will be subject to full admission rates. You must have a minimum ratio of 1 adult for every 8 students (through grade 12).  One (1) adult per five (5) students will be allowed in free as a chaperon; any additional adults over a 1:5 ratio will be required to pay full admission.  Preschools are allowed a 1:3 adult to student ratio and Special Day classes are allowed up to a 1:1 ratio if required.

All school field trip reservations include:

1) Visit to the Contact Corral: a 30 minute reservation accommodates up to 30 students.  Reservations are available Tuesday – Friday from 10:30am – 1:00pm.

2) A hands-on activity in our Learning Lab: this 30-minute presentation plus mini-tour will focus on the importance of our watersheds and teach students how and why we need to protect these valuable resources. You will be contacted about timing for this activity following your completed reservation.
