Fingerprinting services are provided by the Eureka Police Department on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m ., except legal holidays, on a first come first serve basis. 

You are required to bring one of the following forms of primary identification:

  • California Driver's License  
  • DMV Identification Card 
  • Out-of-State Driver's License

Secondary forms of identification must be supported with at least two supplemental documents.  Examples of secondary identification include: U.S. Passport, Social Security Card, State issued Birth Certificate, Military ID card.  Examples of supplemental documents include: utility bill, vehicle registration, paystub, cancelled check, bank statement.  For more information call (707) 441-4060.

The charge for fingerprinting is $35.00.  The price for LiveScan fingerprinting varies depending upon where the fingerprints are being sent. Checks or money orders should be made out to "City of Eureka."
