The Eureka Police Department Records Section is responsible for reviewing reports documented by sworn and non-sworn personnel to check for compliance to federal and state statistical reporting standards.  Records personnel assembles criminal reports for review by the District Attorney’s office, releases reports to involved parties as prescribed by law, responds to subpoenas for records, and California Public Records Act requests.
