California Voter Information Guide on Cassette and in Large Print

The Eureka City Clerk’s office has received a copy of the cassette-recorded version of the Official California Voter Information Guide for the November 2, 2010, Statewide General Election.  The audio cassette was provided by the California Secretary of State’s Election Division and is being made available, free of charge, to persons who are blind or visually impaired.


The cassette is beep-tone indexed and playable on most commercially available cassette recorders, as well as on Talking Book Recorders.


The Voter Information Guide audio cassette is available to borrow from the Eureka City Clerk’s office at 531 “K” Street, Room 208, Eureka.  Arrangements can be made to borrow the cassette or listen to it in the office by contacting the City Clerk’s office at (707) 441-4144.


Copies of the cassette can also be obtained directly from the Secretary of State’s Elections Division at (916) 657-2166, or ordered on-line, free of charge, at: .  The Secretary of State also provides the Official Voter Information Guide in a large print format or in English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Japanese, and Korean.
