The City of Eureka is proposing to update the adopted and certified 2019-27 Housing Element. The Update will remove and add sites to the Vacant, Non-Vacant, and new City-owned sites tables, and modify Implementation Porgram H-34, which requires the City to construct a minimum of 302 affordable dwellings on City-owned parcels by 2028. City Staff has updated other areas of the Housing Element and Techncial Appendix with both new and updated information as well as including other minor corrections.
Pursuant to AB 215, the draft update must be posted on the City's website for 7 days prior to submitting the update to the California Department of Housing and Community Development. The update was posted on the website on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 12:30 p.m..
